Alpaca Sales

We have a variety of females to choose from in a wide range of colors. If you know what you are looking for, let us know and we can put a group of femles together for you to look over. We have package deals that will surely fit your budget. We also have financing available.

We have several males to choose from that will be sure to add a genetic punch to your herd's improvement. Most our junior and proven herdsires are or come from award winning bloodlines.

Alpaca Plasma

Our normal plasma is From Alpacas For Alpacas. This product is collected from adult male alpacas. Your veterinarian should be consulted before use.

Alpaca Breeding

We have an outstanding selection of herdsires who are champions and show ribbon winners. Our alpaca breedings come with a live cria guarantee. Your female will be treated well while she stays with us during the breeding process. We also offer drive-by breedings. If your female stays with us she will be ultrasounded around day 30 to assure she is pregnant. We offer the services of Dr. Isaac Bott, who has significant experience in alpaca reproduction.

Nutrition Topics and Alpaca Nutrition Consulting

Todd Robinson, the owner of Alpaca Valley Farms, has a PhD from Cornell University in Animal Nutrition and Growth. Since his graduation he has been at Brigham Young University. His main research focus has been dealing with camelid nutrition. His work has not only looked at alpaca nutrition here in the United States, but also in South America. Alpaca Boarding

We offer full service alpaca boarding and agistment. Our clients come from all walks of life, but they have one thing in common...they love alpacas. Our facilities are open to clients to visit and to enjoy their alpacas. Our boarding cost is $5.00 per day which includes daily feeding and regular nail trims. In addition deworming, vaccinations, shearing, teeth trimming, halter training, birthing and veterinary care are provided at extra cost. In addition, if you have a hersire, we will stand him for you and take care of breedings.

Pasture Seed

We offer pasture and hay seed and seed mixes to meet your soil and climate. Our seed comes from OreGro Seeds and are certified and are competitvely priced. Give us a call or drop an email and let us know what your needs are and we will find a seed or mix that will fit your needs.

Camelid Fiber

Our alpaca herd consists of every natural color. We shear once a year in the spring and sell our fiber to Crooked Fence Alpacas and Mill where they produce batting, roving and various yarns. We have a small farm store that we sell these different products. In addition to alpaca fiber we also have guanaco and llama.

At shearing time we have a group of fiber sorters come and sort the fiber into the various grades. The mill then uses these different grades to make the different products. We are working to be "GREEN" . . . we are using cotton bags for our fiber. The bags are 40" x 40" or 40" x 80" and as we shear and sort we put the various fiber types and colors in separate bags and off to the mill the fiber goes. The bags are reusable and if they end up in the landfill they are totally biodegradable. Alpacas are "green" so why not the other aspects of alpaca production!

Alpaca Reproductive Evaluation

We are pleased to be working with Dr. N. Isaac Bott who has extensive experience in camelid reproduction. Dr. Bott can evaluate both male and females for soundness, prepurchase exams and diagnosis of reproductive issues.
