Alpaca fiber, or alpaca wool, is one of the products we produce at Alapca Valley Farms.

Our alpaca herd consists of every natural color. We shear once a year in the spring and have our fiber spun into roving and various yarns. We have a small farm store that we sell these different products. In addition to alpaca fiber we also have guanaco and llama fiber. We have natural colors and a host of dyed yarns and rovings.

We hire a local shearer, Jared Livingston, and the entire herd is sheared. If you live in the intermountain area and need a good alpaca shearer, contact Jared, he will treat you right and your alpacas will thank you too!

The alpaca industry is working to setup the alpaca wool infrastucture to market this wonderful fiber. With alpaca producers around the country and around the world, the opportunity to get alpaca wool, llama wool and guanaco wool products is easier than ever.
